Located high on the mountain range in the garden city of Toowoomba, South-East Queensland, the homestead is completely private and secluded. On your wedding day the estate is exclusively yours and you and your guests can use and explore the gorgeous Homestead, stables, garden pavilion, and old-school house set on 13-acres.

Our wedding planning team is highly experienced and will assist you with every aspect of your wedding. On your special day arrive at 9 o’clock in the morning with your bridal party and relax while getting ready in the Bride’s Retreat. You can choose to hold your ceremony in our Pavilion or in one of our wonderful garden locations and while you take photos in our majestic gardens your guests will enjoy a fabulous garden party. Then, as the sun sets, you and your guests can enter our spectacular Conservatory or a marquee for your reception, before you take your first dance under the magnificent chandeliers in the Ballroom.

Our world-class dining team, led by Head Chef Bernhard Kohlhuber, will ensure you and your guests are delighted by the menu you have selected for your wedding. With over twenty years of experience, Bernhard uses his passion, and love for food to offer a menu that is innovative and unique to Gabbinbar Homestead. Our menu options champion the Darling Downs finest ingredients and capture the quintessential hospitality that the region has become known for.

Toowoomba is a beautiful township that offers exciting restaurants, gastro-pubs, and cozy village cafes. The town also has the convenience of 3,000 accommodation rooms all within 10 minutes drive of the homestead, plus a major regional airport within 20 minutes and we are an easy 90-minute drive from Brisbane.
